Lapka Can't Fade the River

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Justin Lapka jammed for 350,000 in the small blind, and Derek Sudell called in the big blind.

Justin Lapka: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Derek Sudell: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Lapka paired up on the {3-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} flop, but Sudell flopped a flush draw. The {8-Diamonds} turn was safe for Lapka, but Sudell binked the {6-Spades} river to send Lapka home.

Straight over Straight for Shao

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a blind vs. blind hand, the flop read {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Bob Shao in the big blind bet 275,000. Joshua Turner assessed Shao's stack behind before raising to 590,000 to which Shao replied with a move all in that was snap called by Turner.

Turner showed the {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for the flopped straight but was left begging to the {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} straight of Shao.

The turn {8-Hearts} and the river {6-Clubs} secured Shao's double up.

Rosenberg Gets Called by Musgrave

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The board read {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Mason Rosenberg bet 110,000 from the big blind. Damon Musgrave called in the early position.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades} and now Rosenberg barreled a bet of 265,000 over the line. Musgrave tanked for a while before making the call and saw his {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} was good against Rosenberg's {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

Aoki Gets Value With Broadway

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Mikiyo Aoki checked a {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop from the big blind, and Ryan Dodson bet 160,000 into a pot of 350,000 from the cutoff. Aoki called.

Both players checked the {a-Spades} turn, and Aoki led out for 225,000 on the {3-Diamonds} river. Dodson called, and Aoki turned over {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flopped Broadway straight. Dodson mucked.

"I had an ace," Dodson told Aoki.

"I figured," Aoki responded.

Mustafov's Deuces Set Up Big Slick

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ryan Belz jammed for 370,000 from under the gun, and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet shoved for 800,000 effective in the small blind, chasing out Olivier Busquet in the big blind.

Ryan Belz: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Fahredin Mustafov: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Both players hit the {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop, but Mustafov's set of deuces had Belz and his pair of kings in a world of hurt. Belz couldn't find a miracle after the {10-Diamonds} turn and {10-Hearts} river, and hit the rail. Busquet would follow Belz out the door shortly after.

Jackson's Aces Good on Scary Board

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a board that read {7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Cole Jackson bet 110,000 which was called by Anthony Spinella.

The river wet the board even more when it came the {9-Spades}. The action went check-check and Spinella turned over {q-}{k-} for top pair but it was no good as Jackson showed {a-}{a-}.

After revealing their hands, both players commented on the terrifying territory of the board that neither player had any interest in exploring any further.

Dolan Spinning it Up

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jeremy Wien jammed from the small blind to put Charles Dolan at risk for his last 655,000, and Dolan made the call.

Charles Dolan: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Jeremy Wien: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Wien picked up a few outs when the {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop gave both players a straight draw, but Wien had a draw to a higher straight. The {9-Clubs} turn and {5-Diamonds} river bricked off, and Dolan doubled up.

"How much were you down to?" Jonathan Karamalikis asked Dolan after his double.

"Sixty-five," Dolan replied. He has since run that stack all the way back to above 20 big blinds.
