Sinclair Takes Two Out

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Jack Sinclair raised from mid-position and Mike Del Vecchio went all in for his last 5,000 in the cutoff. Dan Zack and Roy Upshaw both called in the blinds so they would play for the side pot of 15,000.

The flop came {3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, Zack and Upshaw both checked, Sinclair bet 10,000, Zack quickly folded and Upshaw put in chips but more than the bet so the floor was called over and Upshaw had to go all-in for his last 19,000. Sinclair quickly called.

Mike Del Vecchio: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}
Roy Upshaw: {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Jack Sinclair: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Upshaw had flopped a pair of treys, Sinclair had ace-high while Del Vecchio needed a lot more help to stay alive.

The rest of the board was completed with the {a-Diamonds} on the turn to give Sinclair a pair of aces and the {q-Hearts} on the river to seal the deal.
