Welcome to Day 1 of Event #22: $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold’Em! This two-day tournament is another event making its debut during the 50th annual World Series of Poker, but if the no limit events that have already been held this series are any indication, there will be big numbers for this event as well.

Players are starting with 40,000 chips, blinds beginning at 100/100. There will be 12 levels taking place on Day 1, each lasting 30 minutes with a single re-entry permitted. There will be a 75-minute dinner break after the end of the 12th level, which is also when registration will close.

Cards for this exciting event start hitting the felt at 11 a.m. local time in the Brasilia and Miranda rooms, and the Pokernews team will bring you all the action from start to finish.
