Shorr and Smith Survive

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Shannon Shorr and Bradley Smith were both all in after fourth street and Aleksandr Gofman had a chance to deliver a double knockout.

Gofman: {6-Spades}{j-Diamonds} / {j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Clubs} / {10-Spades}
Shorr: {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} / {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} / {a-Clubs}
Smith: {5-Spades}{4-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / {9-Hearts}

Gofman started with split jacks but Smith rivered two pair for the high pot while Shorr's seven-six was good for the low half. Shorr and Smith chopped Gofman's money to stay afloat but they still have a mountain to climb with the tournament 20 eliminations away from the paid places.
