Klodnicki Check-Raises His Way to a Pot

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

PLO

Chris Klodnicki limped the small blind and Philip Long checked his option. A flop of {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} landed on the felt and both players checked to the {7-Clubs} turn card.

Action checked to Long, he pushed in 55,000 and Klodnicki swiftly announced pot. Long mucked without hesitation and Klodnicki pulled in a pot.

Klodnicki Drops Some in Stud

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Stud

John Evans was the bring in with {2-Spades} and he called when Chris Klodnicki completed with the {q-Hearts}. Evans' board looked dangerous as he spiked three spades, including three wheel cards and a pair of threes. Klodnicki called bets on fourth, fifth, and sixth street and they checked the river. Evans announced aces up, showing an ace among his hole cards. Klodnicki couldn't beat that.

Klodnicki: {x-}{x-}{x-} / {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Evans: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} / {2-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades}

NLH

Chris Klodnicki opened from the cutoff to 55,000, Donny Rubinstein called on the button and Rami Boukai moved all in from the small blind. Klodnicki folded and Rubinstein snap-called for his remaining stack of about 650,000, players turned over their hands with Rubinstein at risk.

Donny Rubinstein: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Rami Boukai: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The dealer fanned out {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} on the flop and Boukai took a commanding lead. Rubinstein started to stand up as he awaited the runout. A {3-Clubs} fell as the turn card and Rubinstein needed a jack or he would be eliminated. The {7-Spades} hit the felt on the river, sending the pot to Boukai with his pair of kings and Rubinstein's fate was cemented as a sixth-place finish for $24,292.

Long and Evans Chop... in Deuce

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Philip Long raised from the second position and John Evans called from the big blind. They drew two apiece and Evans called another bet. The second draw went one-one and Evans led out. Long raised, Evans called and they both stood pat on the final draw. Long fired one more bet and Evans check-called.

"Seven," Long announced, rolling over {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. His made hand was, however, not good for more than a half of the pot as Evans tabled the exact same beholdings.
