Niall Farrell

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Joey Weissman led out for 1,300 from the big blind into a pot of around 5,000. Niall Farrell raised to 4,500 in the hijack and Weissman called.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Weissman checked. Farrell went into the tank for a couple of minutes before dropping in a large bet of 25,000. Weissman took his turn in the tank for a few minutes and eventually made the call. Farrell turned over {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a full house and scooped the pot.

Sammer Sends Ferreira to the Rail

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

In one of the first hands of the day, Harald Sammer and Rafael Ferreira were heads-up in a pot. The flop read {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Sammer tossed in a bet from the hijack which Ferreira called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Sammer fired out another 4,500. Ferreira moved all in for around 16,000 and Sammer instantly called. Ferreira tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} but it was no good against the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} of Sammer. The river brought the {6-Diamonds} and Sammer sent Ferreira to the rail in the early going.
