Mortensen Collects Another Monster Pot

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, the pot already had over 50,000 in the middle. Three players were still in the hand and the big blind led out for 22,000. Morten Mortensen called directly to his left and Daniel Kirsch folded.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and the big blind checked this time. Mortensen thought for a minute before sliding out a bet of 65,000. His opponent flicked in a chip to call and Mortensen tabled {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a full house.

Marcel Vonk: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
His opponent: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Vonk had the dominating hand and earned the double up after the board fell {8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Fernandez Gets the Job Done on the River

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Sergio Fernandez
Sergio Fernandez

There was a raise to 4,300 from under the gun and the button called. Sergio Fernandez also came along from the big blind and the flop fell {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Fernandez checked to the preflop raiser who continued for 5,000. The button still called as did Fernandez.

The {4-Hearts} paired the board on the turn and Fernandez decided to lead out for 13,500. The under-the-gun player folded but the button stuck around for the {2-Hearts} on the river. Fernandez cut out another bet of 32,500 and he finally got rid of all of his opponents to rake in the pot.

Cheong Floats the Flop to River the Best Hand

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Joseph Cheong opened to 3,500 in early position and the button three-bet to 9,100. Cheong called and the two players saw a flop of {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Cheong checked to his opponent who bet 12,500 and Cheong called.

The turn brought the {6-Hearts} and both players checked to the {j-Hearts} on the river. Cheong checked once more and his opponent reluctantly knuckled the table as well. Cheong turned over {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for top pair on the river.

"Nuts!" one player at the table shouted. Indeed it was good enough as Cheong raked in the pot.

Set Up Between Hallaert and Enselme

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

In a raised pot, the flop showed {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Arnaud Enselme checked in the big blind.

Things escalated when Kenny Hallaert made a continuation bet for 3,000 and faced a check-raise from Enselme for 12,000. Hallaert thought about his move for a minute and opted to raise again, making it 31,000, before Enselme announced all in, covering Hallaert's stack worth around 100,000 in total. Hallaert snap-called and the players revealed their cards:

Kenny Hallaert: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Arnaud Enselme: {7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

Despite flopping a set, Hallaert was in terrible shape, facing a flopped straight for the French player, and was eliminated after a {j-Spades} and a {7-Spades} completed the board.
