Harris Gets the Best Hand to Fold

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Bradley Harris opened to 10,000 in middle position and Adam Walton flat-called on the button. Mladen Nincevic three-bet shoved all in for slightly over 100,000 from the big blind and Harris quickly re-shoved for 122,000. Walton thought for a moment but announced he was making a big fold.

Bradley Harris: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Mladen Nincevic: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

"Ahh! I'm in such good shape!" Walton jumped from his seat. The board ran out {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Nincevic was eliminated from the tournament. "I folded the best hand," Walton continued.

Salimbene Rivers a Straight

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nai Hu completed his small blind and Nicholas Salimbene raised to 14,000 in the big blind. Hu took a few seconds before making the call.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Hu check-called the 10,000 bet of Salimbene.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds}, Hu now check-called the 27,000 continuation-bet of Salimbene.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Hu checked for the last time. Salimbene now barreled a bet of 115,000 over the line without hesitating much. Hu jumped into the tank and apologized to the table after a while. The table seemed fine with Hu considering his options carefully. In the end, Hu called but mucked when he saw Salimbene tabled {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for the rivered wheel to scoop the pot.

Chang's Kicker Sends Cikinas Out

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jeffrey Chang raised to 9,000 from early position and Matas Cikinas defended from the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and the two players wasted little time before getting all of the chips in the middle with Cikinas at risk for around 45,000.

Jeffrey Chang: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Matas Cikinas: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Both players flopped top pair but Chang held the better kicker. The {j-Spades} on the turn meant Cikinas was only drawing to a chop. The river bricked off and Cikinas headed to the payout desk.

Lee Doubles Mi Up

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Preston Lee raised to 8,500 from the button and Dong Mi shoved for 64,000 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Lee took some time before making the call in the end.

Dong Mi: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Preston Lee: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for Mi to find a trey on the river to stay alive and double up. Mi celebrated loudly while the rest of the table was confounded. Nobody seemed to be able to bust one another as the double-ups kept happening on this particular table.

Stefanski Makes a Move at the Wrong Time

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ben Palmer
Ben Palmer

The action folded to Ben Palmer who raised it up on the button. Dave Stefanski stuck in a three-bet from the big blind and Palmer just called.

With around 70,000 in the pot, the flop fell {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Stefanski moved all in for around 75,000. Palmer snapped him off and the cards were tabled.

Ben Palmer: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Dave Stefanski: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Stefanski flopped a straight and flush draw but neither the {6-Spades} on the turn nor the {5-Clubs} on the river were of any help to him.
