Littlewood Has the Nuts
A gregarious Keith Littlewood just won a 10,000-chip pot. Caught from the river on a board of 
, his opponent had bet 5,000 and Littlewood jammed for 13,600. His opponent covered him by around 7,000 and was thinking about his options under a barrage of chat.
"I have all my chips in so I can't really pull them back," Littlewood was saying. "Make a decision - rebuys are closing soon." That wasn't strictly true - there are four more levels of re-entry available - but he was never really considering a second buy-in: as soon as his opponent folded he showed 
for the nut straight.
"I have a six card straight," Littlewood pointed out.
"I know that now," was the reply, as the losing hand was mucked.
"I don't care what you had, I've got the nuts," added Littlewood, "You can have three aces."
