Good Turn, Bad River for Klodnicki

In a single-raised pot, Chris Klodnicki, Adam Friedman, and Matthew Schreiber made it to the {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop. Klodnicki continued for 16,000 and Friedman raised to 43,000 on his left. Schreiber folded on the button and Klodnicki matched the price.

The {9-Clubs} fell on the turn and Klodnicki checked. Friedman asked his opponent how much did he play and the answer was just under 200,000. Friedman checked back.

The river card was the {a-Spades} and Klodnicki bet 40,000. Friedman called and Klodnicki showed {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for air on the flop but a turned second pair. Friedman, however, hit the ace on the river and took it down with {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Deeb check-called and took one. Sternheimer patted and fired one last shell. Deeb called and Sternheimer announced an eight-low and a three-card three with {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Deeb had {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for a seven-low and the same badugi hand as Sternheimer, and he took three-quarters of the pot.

Majid Yahyaei opened to 15,000 from the hijack and Adam Owen called in the big blind. The {8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop was checked and Owen led out 24,000 on the {k-Diamonds} turn. Yahyaei called.

The {2-Clubs} on the river was a brick and Owen checked to Yahyaei who fired 60,000. Owen took just under a minute before declaring a call, but he saw Yahyaei show the nut straight with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Moskowitz checked, Yockey bet, Moskowitz check-raised, and Yockey fired back with a three-bet. Moskowitz called.

The {7-Hearts} landed on the turn and Moskowitz check-called to see the {j-Spades} river. He led out and Yockey was disgusted.

"Unbelievable f***ing river. How does that f***ing come," Yockey sighed.

He grabbed his hole cards and studied them for a while, then looked back at the board.

"Alright, I fold. Unbelievable."

Yockey flipped {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and sighed again.

"Look at that flop," Yockey added, and the play moved on to the next hand.

Lisandro Gets a Few Bets Off Pescatori

Max Pescatori completed, Jeff Lisandro called and so did David Moskowitz. Moskowitz hit a face card and Pescatori paired a four, and Lisandro bet with eight and five. Moskowitz folded but Pescatori called.

Lisandro kept firing on fifth and sixth and Pescatori's board double paired. He called both bets to peel the river but then folded to Lisandro's final shell.
