David Moskowitz bet on fifth, sixth, and seventh street with his board showing three clubs. Adam Friedman called him down.

Moskowitz: {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} / {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Friedman: {a-}{7-}{7-} / {a-}{j-}{5-}{k-}

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Shaun Deeb and Ian Johns made it to the showdown and it seemed that bets were made after each draw. Johns was scooped and he continued with his last 30,000.

Buchalter Takes Three-Quarters

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Big O

Three players made it to the river of the {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} board and Yehuda Buchalter bet 20,000. Both Jeff Lisandro and Majid Yahyaei called.

"Nut low and nut flush," Buchalter immediately announced and he indeed showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

Lisandro mucked and Yahyaei tabled {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to claimed a quarter of the pot as he also held nut low.

Owen Pats Three-Card Seven

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

There were two bets in front of Adam Friedman and Adam Owen before they made it to the second draw. The action was picked up thereafter as Friedman bet and Owen paused for a little bit before matching the bid. He decided to stand pat and so did Friedman.

The last round was checked and Owen tabled {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for eighty-seven and a three-card seven. Friedman didn't beat any of that and Owen scooped the pot thanks to a smart decision not to break his hand.

Sternheimer Keeps Building Skyscrapers

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Philip Sternheimer was among those players who entered straight into the $10k Dealers Choice event. Sternheimer quickly picked up with the speed and started amassing piles of chips, and now he sits in the better half on the leaderboard, with his piles reaching higher and higher.

Sternheimer just added another chunk when he called Adam Owen's bet after the second draw. They drew one apiece and Sternheimer checked again. Owen fired and Sternheimer called to see his opponent's cards.

Owen turned up {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Sternheimer studied his hand.

"I think I scoop," he said, showing {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}. He was right and the whole pot went his way.

Wattel Busts Two Positions Short of Paid Places

Level 14 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo Regular

Jordan Siegel brought in, Yehuda Buchalter completed and Mike Wattel made it two bets. Buchalter completed and he fired on fourth. Wattel called and Buchalter bet again on fifth. Wattel put in all his remaining chips and Buchalter called the required 3,000.

Buchalter had already made a seven-low and Wattel trailed. Buchalter spiked a pair of nines on seventh street. Wattel hoped to peel a five, eight or a ten to chop but he airballed his outs as the last card he would see in the tournament was a king.

Buchalter: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} / {2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} / {9-Spades}
Wattel: {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / {k-Diamonds}
