Paur Eliminates Froehlich to Take Commanding Lead Heads-Up

Level 18 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Eric Froehlich raised to 7,000 on the button and Taylor Paur re-raised to 24,000 in the big blind. The action was back on Froehlich who four-bet shoved all in for 198,000. Paur snap-called and was in a dominating position.

Taylor Paur: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Eric Froehlich: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop fell {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades} to put Paur way out front with two pair. The {7-Spades} on the turn left Froehlich drawing dead to the {2-Hearts} on the river. Paur will now take a commanding lead into the heads-up battle with Alexandru Papazian.

Ben Farrell opened to 7,000 and Dario Sammartino three-bet to 20,000. Bryon Lachance then four-bet all in for 100,000. Farrell called and Sammartino folded.

Ben Farrell: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Bryon Lachance: {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

The threes were holding on the {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and on the {j-Clubs} turn but the {k-Hearts} river gave Farrell top pair and he sent Lachance to the rail.

Plesuv Heads to the Payout Desk

Level 17 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Pavel Plesuv limped in from the small blind and Adrien Delmas raised it up to 10,000 from the big blind. Plesuv called and the flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Plesuv checked to Delmas who continued for 6,000 and Plesuv called.

Both players checked the {5-Diamonds} turn card and the {10-Clubs} completed the board. Plesuv checked once more and Delmas thought for a moment before deciding to check it back. Plesuv tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} but Delmas rivered the best hand with {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Plesuv was on the short stack at the table and just moments later was seen leaving his seat with his chips being pushed toward Delmas.
