Behnam Leaves Lybaert Short

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The flop showed {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and there was around 30,000 in the pot. Dmitry Yurasov pushed in 14,000, Arash Behnam called and Bart Lybaert bumped it up to 28,000.

Action folded to Lybaert who moved all in and Behnam called for his remaining 53,000. Lybaert tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for two pair but was in bad shape as Behnam turned over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} for the same two pair but a higher kicker.

The board ran out {k-Spades}{6-Spades} and Behnam took down the pot for a complete double up through Lybaert who was left short.

On the river Freddy Deeb and Nick Lore were heads up, with about 8,000 in the middle on a {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board. Deeb led out for 5,500 and Nick Lore didn't take long to call. Deeb announced "two pair" but when Lore tabled {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} Deeb mucked his hand, sending the pot to Lore.

Good Flop for Queens

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Schuyler Thornton
Schuyler Thornton

A player in late position opened to 2,600, Adam Owen called in the hijack and Schuyler Thornton pushed in a 12,600 three-bet. The original raiser folded and Owen called to see the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop.

Thornton check-called a bet of 10,000 from Owen and the {9-Hearts} peeled off as a turn card. Both players checked to the {10-Diamonds} turn and checked again to showdown.

Thornton turned over {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and said, "Good flop for queens," laughingly with a smile. Owen double checked his cards and then sent them into the muck, shipping the pot to Thornton and his ladies.

Nguyen Has a Monster

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Tam Nguyen raised from early position to 3,100 and the big blind defended.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}, and the big blind check-raised Nguyen's bet of 3,500 to 11,500 and Nguyen instantly grabbed three 5000 chips to make the call.

The turn was the {q-Clubs}, and both players checked. The {6-Spades} landed on the river and the big blind splashed 16,100 and Nguyen snap-called. The big blind tabled {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Nguyen happily showed his {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for a rivered flush.

Lodge Jumps in, Sends One Out

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The flop showed {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and there was around 8,000 in the pot. A player moved all in for their last 11,000 and Harry Lodge called, players turned over their hands.

Lodge tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for a flush draw and his opponent turned over {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}, giving them a pair of sixes. The turn smashed down a {7-Clubs} and Lodge hit his flush. The {a-Spades} river changed nothing and Lodge pulled in the pot, eliminating his opponent.

Zullo Wins a Flip to Stay Alive

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player in middle position raised to 2,500, the action folded to the cutoff who reraised to 6,600, Mark Zullo moved all of his chips in the middle for 28,100. The original raiser mucked fast and the cutoff splashed some chips in.

Mark Zullo: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Cutoff: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop wasn't looking promising for Zullo as it fell {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and the turn {2-Clubs} had him needing an ace or king on the river to double up. The river was exactly that as the {a-Hearts} landed. Zullo fist pumped and the pot was shipped to him.
