Morgenstern Has More Kings

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

Six players invested 1,200 to see a {4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop together. Action checked to Anton Morgenstern on the button, who bet 5,000. Everyone folded to the cutoff, who check-raised the pot, then called off for 24,000 total when Morgenstern potted it back.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Anton Morgenstern: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Morgenstern's top set had his opponent's top pair in rough shape, and the {2-Spades} turn ended matters before the {2-Diamonds} river could fall on the river, filling up Morgenstern and eliminating his opponent.

Vivian Saliba limped from the cutoff and the player on the button did the same. Chance Kornuth sat in the small blind and he decided to pay an extra 200 to limp as well. Belgian Jonathan Abdellatif checked his option to see a flop.

All four players checked when {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} came down on the flop and they immediately saw the {9-Hearts} as turn card. It checked to Saliba and she bet 800. Abdellatif was the only one to call and the {k-Diamonds} fell on the river. Both checked this time.

Abdellatif tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Kornuth commented on what monster his hand was. ''That's why I checked'' replied Abdellatif and he took the pot down while they both laughed.

Zamani Feels Robbed

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

Martin Zamani raised to 1,200 from middle position, and the player next to act called. The big blind three-bet to 5,000, and only Zamani called.

On the {5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop, the big blind bet 10,000, then quickly called off his last 38,000 when Zamani raised the pot.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Martin Zamani: {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Zamani's set led the aces of his opponent, and the {5-Spades} turn gave him unbeatable quads. After the {q-Diamonds} fell on the river, the player next to Zamani said he folded pocket tens.

"I feel like I took a beat, now! Listen, I feel like if I make quads, it should be worth at least two starting stacks!" Zamani said with a smile as he stacked up his newfound chips.

Geilich Lets It Go on the River

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

Ludovic Geilich raised to 1,000 from the hijack and he was called by his neighbor in the cutoff and by Sampo Ryynanen on the button.

The flop was dealt {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Ryynanen checked to Geilich who continued with a bet of 1,600. The hijack was the only caller and Ryynanen threw his cards to the muck with just 10,600 behind.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and Geilich check-called a bet of 4,700. He check-folded to a 10,800 bet on the {q-Spades} river and the pot was pushed to Geilich's neighbor.

Mahmood Attempts To Bluff Miles

Level 4 : 200/400, 0 ante

2018 WSOP Main Event runner-up Tony Miles limped in from the hijack, as did former WSOP bracelet winner Ayaz Mahmood in the cutoff, and Cy Watson checked his option in the big blind.

The trio saw a {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop together. Watson checked, and Miles bet 800. Mahmood called and Watson folded. The {2-Spades} fell on the turn, and Miles bet 2,300. Mahmood called again.

Miles bet 3,500 on the {5-Clubs} river, and Mahmood raised to 8,900. Miles thought briefly before calling, and Mahmood said, "You got it," prompting Miles to table {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a set of nines and the winner.
