Feng Adds to His Stack

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Feng Feng limped under the gun, before it folded to the cutoff who made it 3,000. The big blind came along and Feng made up the difference.

On the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} flop, it went a check apiece. The same happened on the {7-Clubs} turn, taking them to the river which was the {7-Hearts}. The big blind player lead for 6,000 and Feng made a quick call. It was the correct decision, with his {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} beating his neighbor's {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Bansal Chipping Up

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Paawan Bansal has had a good run recently and has added more than 40,000 to his stack in the last level or so. His latest chips were made after he got it in versus a short stack with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} against {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and made trips on the {3-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board, to eliminate his opponent in a hand just now.

Monster Stack for Zerjav

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Walking past Blaz Zerjav's table just now, he is sat with a huge pile of chips. He kindly filled in PokerNews on the hand that saw him exceed the 300,000 mark.

Opening under the gun to 2,200 with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}, Zerjav was called by a player in middle position and the big blind. The flop was {a-}{10-}{10-} rainbow and when checked to, he continued for 2,500, which the player behind called and the big blind folded.

The turn was an {8-} and Zerjav opted to check-raise, a 3,600 bet to 14,000, which his opponent called. The last card out was a {5-} and Zerjav moved all in for 80,000, which was called. They turned over a full house with {10-}{8-} but it wasn't enough to beat Zerjav's aces-full and he is playing with one of the biggest stacks in the room.
