Blind vs Blind Cooler

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

When action folded around to the small-blind player, he shoved all in and was snap-called by Greg Fits in the big blind. The small-blind player had a good hand for the small blind range, but Fits had a really good hand for the big blind range.

Greg Fits: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
All-In Player: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, which was no help to the all in player and he was eliminated.

More Blind vs Blind Action

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Preflop action folded around to the player in the small blind and he shoved all in. Howard Roark, nursing a shorter stack, called from his big blind and was all in and at risk.

Howard Roark: {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Small-Blind Player: {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Roark was ahead preflop, but that all changed after the dealer spread a flop of {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The {j-Hearts} turn was no help to Roark, but the {a-Clubs} river was just a card he was looking for to keep him alive in the tournament.

After the big-blind player checked over to Zhang he continued for 6,000 and was called. The player in the big blind then check-folded after Zhang continued his aggression on the {a-Spades} turn with a bet of 13,000, which some much-needed chips over to Zhang.

Kocher Gets There

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After a late-position player raised it up to 9,000, Jeremy Kocher three-bet to 19,000 from the next seat over and was called.

Both players then checked through to the river on a board reading {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}{a-Clubs}, and when Kocher tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} the other player sent his cards to the muck.

Shenkman Outdraws Opponent

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Perry Shenkman raised it up to 10,500 from under-the-gun, and when action folded around to the player in the big blind he made the call.

The big-blind player checked the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop and Shenkman continued for 27,000. After the player in the big blind confirmed the amount he then check-shoved all in and was snap-called by Shenkman. Both players tabled their hands and the all-in player had second pair with a gutshot straight draw and Shenkman had botton pair with the nut flush draw.

Perry Shenkman: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
All-in Player: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The all-in player did hit his gutshot straight on the turn, but unfortunately it was the {j-Diamonds}, which gave Shenkman the nut flush and left the all-in player drawing dead even before the dealer fanned the {3-Diamonds} river, which gave him the king-high flush.
