Mamiya Makes the Right Call

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

In a raised pot, the flop read {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} when Ruiko Mamiya checked in the small blind position before raising a bet from Anh Van Nguyen. The latter called.

The {8-Spades} fell on the turn and Mamiya bet 40,000, called by Nguyen. On the {5-Diamonds} river, Mamiya checked and faced a bet of 40,000 from Nguyen. Mamiya tanked for a minute and ended up calling.

Nguyen showed {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Mamiya turned over {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for ace-high and took down the pot.
