Gonzales on a Few Bets

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Matthew Gonzales bet fifth and sixth against Sherry Hammers after calling on fourth.

Gonzales: {x-}{x-}/{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}/{x-}
Hammers: {x-}{x-}/{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}/{x-}

Hammers checked it on the end and Gonzales grabbed some chips and began to shuffle. Hammers must have expected a bet as she grabbed 12,000, but Gonzales put his head down and knuckled. Hammers showed {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for queens up and took the pot.

Shack-Harris on a Nub

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Andrey Zhigalov had two to a low on fourth and then three to a low on fifth, leading the betting against John Racener and Brandon Shack-Harris.

Zhigalov: {x-}{x-}/{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Racener: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Shack-Harris: {x-}{x-}/{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Racener quickly folded to a bet but Shack-Harris only had 15,000 left.

"So sick," he muttered with a smile, thinking a couple of minutes. "Pretty sure you have a pair."

"Pair with low draw," Zhigalov said with a smile.

Shack-Harris seemed torn but finally opted to give it up and hold onto his bet and a half.

Douglas Eliminated by Mizrachi

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

On fourth street, Qinghai Pan bet out and Michael Mizrachi raised. Shane Douglas called all in for 2,500, and Pan called too.

On fifth, Pan checked, and Mizrachi bet. Pan folded, and each player's board ran out as follows:

Douglas: {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts} / {q-Diamonds}
Pan: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts} (folded on fifth)
Mizrachi: {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} / {5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} / {2-Spades}

Mizrachi's tens up were too strong for Douglas when he was unable to improve on his pair of eights, and consequently, Douglas was eliminated.
