Sorrentino Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In a three-way all in, a short stack in the cutoff and Raffaele Sorrentino on the button ended up all in and Peter Lee had them both covered.

Cutoff: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Raffaele Sorrentino: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Peter Lee: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The board came {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Sorrentino and the cutoff, further boosting the big stack of Lee.

Woodhead More Than Doubles

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a three-way flop of {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, the action checked to Stephen Woodhead in the cutoff and he bet 11,000. The button called and the player in the small blind check-raised to 37,000. Woodhead moved all in to force out the button, while the small blind asked to pull in the chips.

Woodhead was all in for another 64,500 on top and received the call by the small blind with {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Woodhead was miles ahead with the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and had little to fear on the {2-Diamonds} turn and {k-Spades} river run out.

Petzing Doubles

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Down to 31,000, Jim Petzing needed to get it in and what better time to do it with than with pocket-kings (ok apart from pocket-aces)? He held and netted a double up.

Java Cracks Tens to Boost Stack

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nipun Java
Nipun Java

A short stack jammed for 63,000 and Nipun Java moved all in over the top from one seat over to force out everyone else.

Short stack: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Nipun Java: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

While Java was behind preflop, he spiked a set on {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} and held up on the {q-Hearts} turn and {a-Hearts} river to crack the superior pocket pair.
