Glanzer Makes Hero Call, Doubles Through Gravenor

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Richie Glanzler
Richie Glanzler

Stanislav Angelov opened under the gun for 130,000, Richie Glanzer called sitting directly to his left along with the small blind player and Chad Gravenor defended his big blind.

The {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop was checked to Angelov who bet 130,000, Glanzer called while the small blind folded and Gravenor three-bet jammed for 805,000. Angelov folded his hand and Glanzer went into the tank for a few minutes before making the call.

Richie Glanzer: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Chad Gravenor: {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Glanzer made a great call but still had a sweat as the turn fell the {7-Clubs} giving Gravenor the gutterball with his over.

Luckily for Glanzer, the river fell the {10-Clubs} and he doubled through Gravenor, who would be eliminated the very next hand.

Brian Horwitz: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Angelov Eliminates Hughes

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Stanislav Angelov opened for 125,000 from the small blind and David Hughes jammed from the big blind, Angelov quickly called.

Stanislav Angelov: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
David Hughes: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Hughes had Angelov dominated and stayed ahead after the {4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop.

The {q-Spades} turn would pair Angelov giving Hughes a broadway draw and he needed to spike an ace or jack on the river.

Unfortunately for Hughes, the river came the {4-Spades} and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Kacherl Loses a Flip

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Josef Kacherl moved all in from early position for 550,000. It folded to Jose Annaloro in the big blind who called.

"I've seen this guy," someone at the table said about Kacherl. "He flips very well."

The cards were turned over. Kacherl would need to hold with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} in a flip against {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

The board came {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} with the {a-Hearts} on the river giving Annaloro all that he needed to eliminate Kacherl.
