Lewin Wins Two-Million Chip Pot

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jamie Lewin
Jamie Lewin

With well over 300,000 in the pot and a board of {4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, the decision was on Jaime Lewin.

His opponent, Ronald Sewell had pushed his remaining 824,000 chip stack into the middle of the table for a huge over bet.

After some time thinking and counting down his chips, Lewin finally made the call.

Jaime Lewin: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Ronald Sewell:{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Lewin was in rough shape as Sewell had flopped trips. With one card to come Lewin could only win if a spade came on the river without pairing the board.

Lucky enough Lewin hits a miracle {5-Spades} to win a massive pot and knock out Sewell.

Lloyd Bets All Three Streets

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The hijack opened to 40,000 and Benjamin Lloyd made the call on the button.

Heads up to a flop which was {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The original raiser checked and Lloyd bet 50,000. His opponent called.

Lloyd fired 100,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn card when he was checked to and once again got called.

The {j-Clubs} river did not slow Lloyd down as he went all in for his last 340,000. After a few minutes of being in the tank, the hijack threw his hand into the muck and Lloyd took down a nice pot.

Mike Dentale

Mike Dentale: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Andrew Gilmore: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Under the gun: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Middle position:{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Souza Turns The Nuts

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The action folded to Jimmy Guinet on the button who raised to 35,000. Matt Souza, with his 16,000 big blind already at risk, called the additional 19,000 and they went heads-up to the flop.

Souza check-called a 45,000 bet on the {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop.

Action went check-check on the {8-Diamonds} turn, bringing a pretty irrelevant {6-Clubs} on the river.

Souza then led for around half pot with a bet of 87,000, Guinet snap called only to see that Souza had turned the nut straight with {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Guinet showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a flopped set.
