Richard Kellett Looks to Climb to the Top as 247 players return for Day 2 of Event #78: $1,500 PLO Bounty

Day 2 of Event #78: $1,500 PLO Bounty begins today at noon local time as 247 remaining players return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The 1,130 players who registered yesterday compiled a total prize pool of $960,500, which was more than its inaugural event last year. When the action begins, players will be less than 100 spots away from the money which will guarantee 170 hopefuls a min-cash of at least $1,416. A final table appearance will be paying at least $12,996, with first-place being worth a cool $177,823.

Leading the 247 hopefuls to claim WSOP gold is Tobias Schwecht, while Richard Kellett is close on his tail with (414,600). Kellett has $791,304 in lifetime earnings but is still looking to claim his first-ever WSOP cash. Following behind Schwecht and Kellett are Yingui Li (379,400), Kazuhiko Yotsushika (359,600), and Jason Young (356,300), who round up the top five stacks.

There are still many notables above the chip average looking to add to their WSOP bracelet collection, those include Jonathan Dimmig (276,800), Aditya Sushant (215,300), Bryce Yockey (194,000), Allan Le (165,000), Andreas Klatt (151,800), Jack Duong (151,700), Luis Velador (150,600), Andrew Donabedian (139,200), and Kevin Eyster (123,000).

Day 2 kicks-off at noon, with action picking up on level 11 where blinds will be 800/1,600. Blind levels will be 60-minutes long and players will receive a 15-minute break after every two levels along with an hour-ling dinner break at the end of level 16.
