Two Pair No Good for Kornuth

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

No-Limit Holdem

On the river, the board read {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and there was over 120,000 already in the pot. Chance Kornuth was heads up against Haoyu Xu and had led out for 44,000, Xu thought about it for about a minute before making the call.

Kornuth tabled {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for two pair, and Xu showed up the bad news when he tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a set of sevens.

Moses Shoves Turn

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

No-limit Hold'em

Maxx Coleman raised in the cutoff to 5,200, Mathew Moore called in the small blind and David Moses called as well from the big blind.

The flop came {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Moore checked, Moses bet out 10,000 which Coleman snap-folded to and Moore called.

The {8-Hearts} landed on the turn, Moore checked once again and Moses moved all-in. Moore went into the tank and asked for a count, after finding out it was 33,700 he thought it over and decided the price was too high and mucked his hand. Moses then tabled the {8-Diamonds} and mucked his second card.

Force Loses Flip

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Leif Force and Iori Yogo got all in prelfop, both in early position after Force had gone all in, putting Yogo to a decision for his tournament life. Eventually, he called and Force was somewhat surprised that the decision took him so long to make.

Leif Force: {q-Diamonds}{q-}
Iori Yogo: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

"Great," Force said as the dealer fanned the flop {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The turn {5-Spades} fell as Force picked up his two queens, already ready to muck them. The {5-Diamonds} river allowed him to do just that as Yogo counted his stack to be paid for his double.

Eric Baldwin (pictured in another event)

On a flop of {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and about 11,600 in the middle, Remi Castaignon and Eric Baldwin both checked to the third player in the hand who bet out 8,000, Castaignon then raised to 21,500, Baldwin called and the third player mucked.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and Castaignon announced all-in and before he could even finish the word Baldwin called.

Eric Baldwin: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Remi Castaignon: {10-Spades}{3-Spades}

Baldwin had flopped fives-full while Castaignon had trip threes and Castaignon couldn't catch his case three when the {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Moon Sends Landherr to the Rail

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a three-way pot the board read {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and with roughly 22,000 in the middle David Williams checked, Jeffrey Landherr bet out 17,000 and Christopher Moon raised to 75,000. David Williams quickly folded and after about 30-seconds of being in the tank Landherr announced all-in which was slightly more than the 75,000 Moon had bet and he quickly called.

Christopher Moon: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Jeffrey Landherr: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}

Landherr had two pair but was behind Moon's straight and couldn't pair the board when the {8-Diamonds} landed on the river.
