Schulman Counterfeits Calderaro

Nick Schulman opened to 80,000 in middle position and James Calderaro defended from the big blind. The flop came and Calderaro checked to Schulman who tossed in a continuation bet. Calderaro shoved all in for 605,000 and Schulman quickly called.

Calderaro out-flopped Schulman's pocket aces by hitting two pair. The changed nothing on the turn but the paired the board on the river. As a result, Schulman made a larger two pair and eliminated Calderaro.

Schulman Binks the River to Eliminate Fox

The action folded around to Elio Fox and Nick Schulman in the blinds and they wasted little time before getting all of the chips in the middle preflop. Fox was the player at risk for 700,000 and the two players were flipping.

The turn was the and Chen checked again. Grafton fired out another bet of 250,000 and this time Chen laid his hand down.

"I would have gone for the double check-raise if it wasn't a queen on the turn," Chen pointed out.
