Silver Doubles Through Faroni

A player limped for 6,000 Max Silver called in the cutoff before Abraham Faroni potted for 30,000. Only Silver called and the twp players checked on the flop {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} and Faroni potted for 72,000, putting Silver into a decision for his last 70,000. Silver tanked for a few minutes and ended up calling with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a straight and a flush draw while Faroni held {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

A {10-Clubs} completed the board and Silver got his double up with trips tens.

Schropfer Doubles Before Dinner

There was 21,500 in the pot on a board of {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} in a blind-versus-blind battle between Thomas Schropfer and Abraham Faroni. Schropfer checked and Faroni bet 19,000. Schropfer check-raised to 84,000 and Faroni called.

The river came {5-Spades} and Schropfer announced he was all in. Faroni thought for a few moments and then asked for a count which was totaled to be 94,000. He then went into the tank for another two minutes and finally called.

Schropfer announced a straight, showing {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a wheel.

Faroni said it was good and mucked his hand which was then tabled to show {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

Saliba Joins the Rail

According to Vivian Saliba, she limped with {q-}{j-}{10-}{7-} with two diamonds and called a raise from John Richards.

The flop appeared {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, opened a flush draw to Saliba and she bet pot. Richards raised, putting Saliba at risk for her tournament and she called.

Richards was holding {9-}{7-}{5-}{4-} with two clubs and hit a runner-runner flush as two more clubs fell on the board to eliminate the last woman standing from the tournament.

Flush Over Flush for Hale

Chen Hao raised to 13,000 in the cutoff and Millard Hale called in the big blind.

On the flop {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Hale check-called Hao's continuation for 10,000. Both checked on the {4-Hearts} turn.

A {4-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Hale quickly check-called a bet worth 15,000 from Hao. The latter revealed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{x-} for the flush but Hale tabled {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut flush and took down the pot.

The latter ended up calling but only to his hand {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{x-}{x-} for trips beaten by Richards who found a straight with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}.
