Craig Varnell (earlier this summer)

Andrey Pateychuk raised to 2,000 from under the gun and was called by Craig Varnell in mid-position and the big blind.

The flop came {4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades} for all players to check through to the {q-Clubs} on the turn. They did the same again for the {10-Clubs} to complete the board. The big blind checked, Pateychuk bet 7,000, Varnell took some time and then decided to raise to 23,000. The big blind folded and Pateychuk called after taking a few seconds but mucked when Varnell tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for the rivered Broadway.

Lehr Takes Two in a Row

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

The hand right after, Lehr raised to 1,800 again, this time from under the gun and Fabian Gumz three-bet to 5,000 from mid-position. Action folded back to Lehr who made the call. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Lehr check-raised the 3,200 bet of Gumz to 14,100 which made Gumz tank for a bit. After a while, Gumz opted to fold.
