Peng Spikes a Set

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Enjun Peng just spiked a set to double through after he had his stack on the line preflop with {3-}{3-}, at risk against the {8-}{8-} of Michael Youngson. Peng had three-bet all in for 1,200,000 from the big blind over Youngman's initial preflop open from the cutoff.

The door card was the {3-Diamonds} and no help came for Youngson further along the board.

"Is it really your first tournament?" asked a tablemate.

"Yes," Peng replied, "My first WSOP tournament."

Chamorro Extends Lead

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Sebastien Chamorro
Sebastien Chamorro

There's no stopping Frenchman Sebastien Chamorro this level. Already leading the field, he just performed a double elimination of short-stacked opponents to boost his stack even further ahead.

Chamorro's all-in opponents held {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} and {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} respectively. Chamorro, tabling {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}, called for his "one time" while the board ran out {6-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

"Oui!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, then translated for the table: "Yes! Incredible." He kissed his fingers and aimed them at the ceiling, stacking his towers even higher.
