Chamorro Edges into Chip Lead

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

An excitable Sebastien Chamorro just busted a short stacked player who'd three-bet his 400,000 all-in from the big blind after Chamorro opened in late position with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Chamorro made the call (he already had close to 4,000,000 total) and found himself up against {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. The ace stayed ahead through the {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Hearts} turn and river, but the {j-Spades} was one of Chamorrow's many outs to win.

"Yes!" he shouted, leaping out of his seat, then sat back down and said of the hand, "I need luck. But I had a jack, a flush draw, a ten...phew!"

Tough Level For Preciado

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jose Preciado
Jose Preciado

Jose Preciado was recently moved from the seat he'd been in all day, but not before Novica Muskovic pushed him off a preflop raise to 300,000 with an in-position three-bet to 745,000. Preciado eventually had the clock called on him and folded.

As soon as he arrived at his new seat, he raise-folded again (this time losing his initial bet of 250,000). Down to 1,100,000 now, the very next hand he raised under the gun to 300,000.

It folded round to the small blind who moved all in for just 5,000 more. "You gonna fold?" No.

Preciado: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop was rainbow, signalling the end of tension for both players, and the pot chopped.

Craig Disalvo

Craig Disalvo has topped 4,000,000 after winning a million chip pot. He three-bet an early-position raiser (from 160,000 to 500,000) after thinking about it for a while on the button. His opponent called (with about a million behind).

On the {5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, the out of position player checked and Disalvo immediately announced: "all in." His opponent folded {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} face-up.

"These have been good to me," said Disalvo, showing the table his {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.
