Rush Flush With Spades

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs} board, Brian Rush bet 2,000 from the small blind, former WSOP November Niner Russell Thomas called in middle position, and the button raised to 6,000. Rush called and Thomas folded.

The {2-Spades} fell on the river, and Rush checked. The button bet 11,000, and Rush quickly called.

"You have spades?" the button asked Rush, who nodded and tabled {10-Spades}{8-Spades}. The button mucked.

From late position, Mike Gorodinsky raised to 1,300 before Ivan Emanuely three-bet to 4,200 from the hijack.

Action folded back to Gorodinsky, and he called.

The {7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} board checked through to the river where Gorodinsky bet 5,200.

Emanuely raised to 17,000, and Gorodinsky folded.

Andriamahefa Makes a Flush

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Kevin Andriamahefa was recently seen as a new arrival to the Amazon Orange section and was in the process of taking down a pot, having his winning hand of {k-Spades}{q-Spades} still tabled on a board of {2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{x-Spades}, thus having made a flush. Despite the victory, Andriamahefa has around half of a starting stack in front of him, though that is still 60 big blinds at present moment.

Overbet Gets It Done for Kabrhel

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a board reading {3-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} a rather innocuous looking pot of around 15,000 was in the middle. The first player to act checked after a few moments over to Martin Kabrhel who blasted off by tossing several orange chips into the middle which was counted out to be a bet of 45,000.

His opponent gave a bemused smile at the size of the bet and thought it over. After a while he called and Kabrhel quickly turned over the {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a 'boat, small boat but a boat' as he put it. His opponent could only muck as Kabrhel added another decent chunk to his stack.

Brown Bests Goldkind

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Clifford Goldkind, under the gun, was heads-up against big blind opponent Rory Brown on a {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Hearts} board. It took awhile for both players to check through the turn, and the river brought the {k-Diamonds}.

The final betting round was a more brisk affair, as both players checked through again, and Brown showed {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} to take down the pot.

Nygard Nears 300k With a Bold Bluff

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

There was a pot of 25,000 built up when Dan Nygard bet 75,000 from the small blind facing an {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Hearts} board, and his opponent on the button, who had just 24,500 behind, was contemplating a decision.

After a minute or so, the button elected to fold, and Nygard turned over {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a stone bluff before raking in the pot.

Daniel Alaei
Daniel Alaei

Daniel Alaei's seat is now empty following an earlier elimination. Though it is unclear how the five-time bracelet came unstuck, his table is most likely breathing a sigh of relief now that he is out of the running.

Nut Flush for Stephen Graner

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Stephen Graner raised to 1,200 from middle position, Mark Darner called from the button and the player in the big blind three-bet to 4,100. Both Graner and Darner called.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, the big blind continued for 10,100 and only Graner called.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds}, the big blind bet 16,000 and Graner called.

The river was the {9-Hearts}, the big blind checked, Graner bet 32,000 and his opponent called.

Graner tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for an ace-high flush, his opponent mucked and Graner collected the pot.
