Adeniya Adds to the Stack

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Wenrao Zhang bet 2,600 from the big blind with the board showing {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, and Martins Adeniya made the call from early position.

The river came the {q-Clubs}, Zhang slowed down with a check, and Adeniya bet 8,000, getting Zhang to fold. Adeniya is up to 165,000 after dragging the pot.

Farber Coming Back

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Jay Farber has seemingly recovered from his rocky start and was involved in another hand with a flop that read {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}. His opponent made a small bet that Farber called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs}. Both players checked. The river came the {q-Clubs}. Farber took the initiative this time and bet 5,200 and got a call. He turned over the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a flush and gathered in the pot.

Sherman Hits Two Outs on the River

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

There was an open to 1,300 and a call behind from Adam Sherman, before a player in the blinds upped it to 5,500. The initial raiser folded but Sherman made the call.

It was a lowball {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and the three-better continued for 6,000, which Sherman called. With no betting on the {3-Hearts} turn, the dealer placed an {8-Diamonds} on the river. The player in the blinds put 5,000 more into the pot and then made a very quick call when Sherman raised it to 30,000.

Adam Sherman: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Sherman found one of the two outs he needed and his stack is looking very healthy as a result.

Faecher Rips it in Prematurely

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Barry Faecher raised to 2,100 from middle position, and was called by both of the blinds.

Action checked to Faecher on a {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, and he bet 6,200. Only the small blind called.

Once the {k-Hearts} fell on the turn, Faecher inadvertently announced "All in," before the small blind could act. The small blind elected to check, then quickly fold to Faecher's 15,000 chip shove.

Deadman Check-Raises Flop

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

With around 5,000 in a three-way pot preflop, both the small blind and Simon Deadman in the big blind checked a flop of {5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} putting action on a player in early position who bet 1,000.

The small blind folded and Deadman thought for about 20 seconds before announcing a raise of 3,200. His opponent then went into the tank for a minute, deliberating between his options before ultimately choosing to fold his hand, resulting in the dealer sending the pot Deadman's way.

Foxen Accumulating

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a flop of {4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} Alex Foxen bet 8,000 and his opponent called. The turn was the {9-Diamonds}. Foxen bet enough to put his opponent all in, who had a remaining stack of about 19,000. The bet would work as his opponent folded after a few moments of contemplation and Foxen added more chips to his growing stack.

Emmett Wants a Fish ... a Big Fish ... Like Himself

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Randall Emmett
Randall Emmett

"Randall is back! Yum, yum, yum!" announced Randall Emmett after the opponent he had just eliminated had vacated the secondary feature table.

"God, I love this game," Emmett continued.

Emmett held {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}, and he called his opponent's roughly 10,000-chip all in.

Emmett's opponent was in the lead with his {k-}{10-}, but when the dealer spread the {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Spades} board, Emmett struck the river and eliminated his opponent.

Jumping up from his chair in seat eight, Emmett jolted to the now vacant seat one and rubbed it while he pleaded, "Poker Gods, bring me a fish. A big fish ... like myself!"
