Double Nut Flush Draws, One Chop for Mueller

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Luther Tran opened with an under the gun raise to 800 and Greg Mueller three-bet next to act to 2,000.

Action folded back to Tran, and he called as the flop landed {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Tran checked, and Mueller announced a bet of 2,200. Tran thought for a little and then called before the {6-Clubs} and {7-Hearts} checked through.

Tran tabled his {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, and Mueller revealed his {a-Spades}{j-Spades}, and the pot was chopped up.

Big Huni Loses Two in a Row

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Jeff Gross opened to 800 in the hijack and was called by Chris Hunichen on his left. Victor Choupeaux three-bet to 3,000 on the button and both of the blinds folded. Gross also folded but Hunichen called to see a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

Both players checked and the {7-Clubs} paired the board on the turn. Hunichen check-called a bet of 2,000 from Choupeaux and the {2-Hearts} completed the board. Hunichen checked again and Choupeaux fired out a bet of 4,200. Hunichen looked him up and Choupeaux tabled {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} for the winner.

In the next hand, Hunichen raised and was called by James Romero on the button and the big blind. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Hunichen continued for 1,300. Romero raised to 4,300 which got the big blind to fold but Hunichen called.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {3-Clubs} on the river. Hunichen checked again and Romero splashed in a bet of 11,300. Hunichen scratched his head as he wasn't pleased with the river.

"I should have just re-raised the flop," he grumbled. "So sick. I call," as he tossed in a couple of chips. Romero turned over {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush while Hunichen flashed {q-}{q-} before mucking his cards.

Jacks for Fitzgerald

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Following a raise to 1,000 from under the gun, and a call from Nikola Gunchev in middle position, Alex Fitzgerald three-bet the hijack to 3,500.

Both the original raiser and Gunchev called as the flop landed {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Fitzgerald continued for 5,500 after the action checked to him, and once the original raiser folded, Gunchev called.

The turn fell the {8-Spades}, and Gunchev checked. Fitzgerald bet 10,000, and Gunchev called.

The river landed the {a-Diamonds} and both players checked. Gunchev tabled his {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, but it would be Fitzgerald's {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} that would earn him the pot.
