Eychenne More Than Doubles

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The player in middle position raised to 2,500 and the hijack called. Thomas Eychenne three-bet to 9,000 from the cutoff and the player on the button called. The player in mid-position added the remainder to call as well and the hijack folded.

A flop reading {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} was dealt and action checked to Eychenne who moved all in for 26,500. The player on the button was the only caller.

Thomas Eychenne: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Eychenne's opponent had flopped a flush draw but the {6-Spades} turn and {7-Spades} river filled up the board and Eychenne claimed the pot with ace-high and a better kicker than his opponent.

Tan Doubles Through Drilon With Ladies

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jose Drilon opened for 2,900 from late position and Longsheng Tan three-bet to 7,600 sitting directly to his left. Action was on the button player who called and action folded back to Drilon who jammed and was called by Tan for less. The button player tanked for a few minutes before mucking his hand and stated, "I folded eights".

Jose Drilon: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Longsheng Tan: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Tan was ahead and it stayed that way as Drilon couldn't connect with one of his overs as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Drilon shipped 36,600 over to Tan.

"Uncle Johnny" Sends One to the Woodshed

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
John Esposito at the $50k PPC Final Table
John Esposito at the $50k PPC Final Table

A player jammed his last 40,000 in on a {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} board, and John Esposito immediately called.

Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
John Esposito: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Esposito's full house was good for the elimination on a {7-Hearts} river, and he clapped his hands and said, "Uncle Johnny!" much like he did when he made the final table of this year's $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

Rheem in His Element: Piles of Chips and Plenty of Talk

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

One player with a rich history of crushing the WSOP Main Event has been moved to Amazon Tan with a pile. Chino Rheem is sitting with around 450,000, and he's in a familiar position as his record in this event is quite strong: a seventh-place finish for a career- best $1.77 million in 2008, as well as three runs into the top 250 in 2005, 2017 and 2018.

Rheem is already up to his usual tricks, talking up his tablemates and walking around to other tables handing out daps and hugs in between pots.

He just played a pot in true Rheem fashion wherein he bet 3,000 from the button on {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{a-Spades} and was called by a player in the small blind. Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} with Rheem saying he "wanted to see what he got called by."

"Seven!" the small blind shouted.

"You called me with a seven?!" Rheem said incredulously. "Seven's good."

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Benjamin Ohana opened for 2,200 from late position and Sergio Grosso three-bet jammed for 11,600 from the small blind, Ohana called.

Benjamin Ohana: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Sergio Grosso: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Grosso was behind but not for long as the flop came {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

The turn brought the {q-Clubs} and Grosso doubled up after the dealer peeled off the {7-Spades} on the river.
