Sinishtaj Eliminates Li

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tony Sinishtaj opened for 7,000 on the button and Yuan Li three-bet to 28,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to who jammed for roughly 400,000 and Li called for less.

Tony Sinishtaj: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Yuan Li: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades} was no help to Li as he couldn't find a pair on the {3-Hearts} turn nor the {7-Diamonds} river and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Lee Doubles, Leaves Qartomy Frustrated

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Rickey Lee shoved from under the gun for 49,500 and Ray Qartomy called in middle position, showing {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} at showdown. He was dominating Lee's {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} but the {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{k-Clubs} board was all Lee.

"I put you on a bigger hand than that," Qartomy groused. "You haven't played a hand in an hour."

"Getting short, what do you want me to do?" Lee replied.

Young Doubles Weber Up and Can't Recover

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Weber shoved from the hijack for 50,500 and action folded to Orson Young in the big blind who made the call.

Michael Weber: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Orson Young: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for Weber to hold with the pocket pair to double up and leave Young behind with 9,000.

The hand after, Young put his last 9,000 in from the small blind. Kento Mori looked at his cards and threw in a stack of chips for the call.

Orson Young: {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Kento Mori: {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for them both to flop a pair and keep Young ahead with the higher one.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} which didn't change things but the {6-Clubs} on the river did as Mori rivered trips. Mori fist-pumped the air and shouted: "Yes!" to the surprise of Scott Baumstein who just saw down at the table. Max Silver kindly explained what had happened.

Schulz Wins on the TUrn

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jen Harman raised to 6,500 under the gun and Jeffrey Schwimmer flatted two seats to her left. Schwimmer's neighbor Robert Schulz also called and so did a player in the big blind.

The {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop was checked to Schulz who bet 7,000. The big blind check-raised to 20,000, forcing two folds, but Schulz stuck around for the turn.

It fell {9-Clubs} and Schulz bet 17,500 in position. He took it down as his opponent folded.
