Hachem Balancing Out His Limping Range

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Hachem
Daniel Hachem

The action folded to Daniel Hachem on the button who decided to just limp in. The small blind raised to 45,000 which got the big blind to fold and Hachem also laid his hand down.

In the next hand, Hachem limped in from the cutoff again and Louis Hillman made it 50,000 from the small blind. Hachem changed it up this time and dropped in a stack of 25,000 chips to cover Hillman.

After a couple of minutes thinking and talking to himself, Hillman finally sent his cards to the muck. "Use those chips as a weapon," Hillman made a point of Hachem's stack.

"Big weapon. Big, big weapons," Hachem replied.

O'Rourke Eliminated by Lynn

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After losing with {a-}{k-} against {q-}{q-}, Gavin O'Rourke got his last 47,000 chips in with {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} against the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Joel Lynn.

The flop {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs} gave O'Rourke a set against Lynn's two pair. The turn was the {6-Hearts} but the river {a-Hearts} gave Lynn the bigger of two full houses to send O'Rourke to the rail.

"Nice sweat for just a flip," said someone at his table.

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Xixiang Luo raised in early position to 22,000 and Donald Schiavone three-bet to 75,000, the action folded back around to Luo who made the call.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} Luo checked and Schiavone announced all-in instantly without putting the chips in the middle. Luo went into the tank for about 20 seconds before mucking his hand. Schiavone showed his {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} before giving the cards back to the dealer.

Dollins Chipping Up

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Michael Dollins raised it up from early position and the hijack shipped all in for around 225,000. The action folded back to Dollins who made the call without any hesitation.

Michael Dollins: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Dollins held the larger of the two pocket pairs and the flop of {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} was hardly any sweat. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn left his opponent drawing to just out and the {j-Diamonds} on the river was not one of them.

Double Elimination for Lu

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Henry Lu opened and Yevgeniy Fidchuk three-bet from late position. Jarod Minghini four-bet all in from the big blind for around 200,000 and Lu called.

Fidchuk then moved all in for slightly less and all three turned over their cards.

Henry Lu: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Yevgeniy Fidchuk: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Jarod Minghini: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The flop {3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and turn {8-Diamonds} didn't help anyone, although it did give Lu a flush draw and the chance of knocking out two players. The river was the {a-Diamonds} and Minghini momentarily was excited to hit his pair, but it gave Lu his flush and he knocked out both players.
