Sow Down and Dusted

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kalido Sow
Kalido Sow

Simon Deadman raised it up from the cutoff and Kalidou Sow defended from the big blind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Sow check-called a bet of 24,000 from Deadman.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and both players checked to the {2-Hearts} on the river. Sow led out for 67,000 and Deadman made the call. Sow tabled {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a missed flush draw and Deadman showed {k-Spades}{j-Spades} to take the pot.

Sow was down to just 116,000 after the hand and he raised to 16,000 from the small blind in the next hand. Victor Figueroa called from the big blind and the flop fell {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The two players quickly got all of the chips in the middle and Sow was at risk.

Kalidou Sow: {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Victor Figueroa: {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Figueroa flopped trip sixes to leave Sow drawing fairly slim. The {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {9-Hearts} on the river provided no help and Sow headed to the payout desk.

Cohen Scores Huge Double; Salter Eliminated

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jonathan Cohen
Jonathan Cohen

Gabriel Andrade opened to 18,000 from the cutoff and Corey Burbick called on the button. Jack Salter three-bet to 88,000 from the small blind and Jonathan Cohen four-bet to 200,000 from the big blind. Andrade and Burbick both folded before Salter five-bet all in for around 800,000. Cohen called.

Jonathan Cohen: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Jack Salter: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Salter was left with 15,000 chips.

He got it in pre-flop three-ways, and after Burbick forced the third player out of the hand on a {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, the cards were turned over.

Jack Salter: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Corey Burbick: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} run out didn't help Salter and he was eliminated.

Skrbic Shoves River

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Milos Skrbic raised from midde position to 16,000 and the action folded around to the small blind who made the call, and the big blind got out of the way.

The flop came {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the small blind check-called a bet of 21,000 from Skrbic.

On the {6-Clubs} turn the small blind fired out 30,000 and Skrbic called quickly.

The river was the {a-Hearts}, the small blind fired out a bet of 40,000 and Skrbic moved all-in. The player in the small blind asked for a count and took about two minutes to fold after being told it was 289,000. He then asked Skrbic, "Is there any amount I can pay you to show?"

Skrbic said, "Just tell me what you had."

The opponent said he folded a king and Skrbic tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Force Eliminates Opponent with Aces

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Leif Force
Leif Force

Leif Force found himself in a good spot with pocket aces pre-flop against pocket jacks. His opponent was at risk but Force barely had him covered so it was critical for his tournament life as well.

The board would provide no jacks as it came {4-}{k-}{10-}{q-}{4-} and Force found himself with a nice boost in chips as his opponent was sent away.

Richard Seymour
Richard Seymour

On the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} turn, Richard Seymour checked in early position and called a bet worth 75,000 by Gordon Vayo on the button. The {j-Clubs} river was checked through and Seymour tabled {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for queens and jacks, Vayo flinched his cards into the muck.

Their table will be heading to one of the feature tables after the upcoming first break of the day.
