Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Uri "JimyT" Reichenstein raised to 2,000 from the middle position and both "davidrao" and "majestre" called in the blinds.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, it was checked to "majestre" who bet 2,244. Reichenstein raised to 7,420 which only "majestre" called.

The turn was the {q-Spades}, "majestre" bet 21,640 and Reichenstein called.

The river completed the board with the {a-Spades}, "majestre" barreled a bet of 64,920 into the pot and Reichenstein called with the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for the rivered set of aces but "majestre" held the {j-Spades}{8-Hearts} for the straight.

Paulo "Pokerggbras" Goncalves raised to 2,200 on the button and was called by "whatariver1" in the small blind. Laurynas Levinskas three-bet to 11,552 in the big blind and "whatariver1" was the only caller.

On a flop of {7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}, "whatariver1" check-called for 18,525 and left themselves with 73,721 behind to the {10-Hearts} turn. They checked once again, Levinskas jammed with the superior stack and received a call.

"whatariver1": {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Laurynas Levinskas: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {k-Diamonds} on the river brought no upset and "whatariver1" was sent to the rail.

GACKT Dashes Out Two Doubles

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Gakuto "GACKT" Oshiro took a first hit after the break when his {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} came up short against the {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} of "zhangning" in a preflop all-in, as the board ran out [7´6h5h2s7hJs].

Right after, Oshiro min-raised to 2,000 out of the small blind and "MoneyHeist" limp-called in the hijack. Oshiro continued for 2,714 on the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop to pick up a call and then bet-raised from 5,211 to 19,567. "MoneyHeist" jammed for the 68,194 he had at their disposal and Oshiro called.

"MoneyHeist": {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Gakuto "GACKT" Oshiro: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Oshiro needed a king or eight, and the {4-Diamonds} river was of no help to cause yet another setback.

WSOP Legend: Ungar's Daughter Answers Questions About Late Father

Stu Ungar

At the final table of the 1997 World Series of Poker Main Event, which was played in the summer heat on Fremont Street outside Binion’s Horseshoe, Stu Ungar prevailed to capture a $1 million top prize and his third WSOP Main Event title (he also won in 1980 and 1981).

During his winner interview with Gabe Kaplan, Ungar held up a photo of his then 14-year-old daughter, Stefanie, and expressed his love. It was clear she was the center of his world.

“I love you honey, and I’ll be seeing you soon,” he said.

This past week, Stefanie Ungar-Campbell, who is now all grown up, offered poker fans an inside look at her father – who would pass away in 1998 – by giving them the opportunity to ask her anything on various social media outlets. It was in remembrance of the 22nd anniversary of her father’s passing on November 22.

Ungar-Campbell, who is now 38 years old and living in Las Vegas with her husband and two children, has been active on social media in 2020 sharing photos and stories of her father.

Tafur tabled {j-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a missed gutshot and Jorstad claimed the pot with {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} for eights full of sevens.

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
