Iakovlev Busts to Habegger

Blinds: 60,000/120,000

Michael "Minthon" Iakovlev kicked off the action with a raise to 315,000, and Fernando "JNandez87" Habegger three bet it to 900,000. Iakovlev called, and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Habegger moved all in 1,500,000, and Habegger quickly called with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for middle set, and Iakovlev would need a seven or running cards. The {10-Spades} turn was one of those cards, but the {2-Clubs} river held the course for Habegger.

"TrumptheGr8" Secures Big Double Up

Blinds: 50,000/100,000

Four players each committed a million chips to the pot before the flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Action checked to "TrumptheGr8" on the button, and he moved all in for just over 1.8 million. "Bugrino78" was the only player to call, and he showed {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a flush draw. "TrumptheGr8" showed {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} for trip sixes, and they would hold on the {10-Clubs} turn and {7-Spades} river, which actually gave "TrumptheGr8" a full house.

Just 50 Players Remain Now

"Biezpienelis" Takes Chip Lead With Double Knockout

Blinds: 30,000/60,000

Big stack "Biezpienelis" raised to 180,000, and "Lwllh" moved all in for 475,000 and change on the button. In the big blind, Dimitar "To3u" Bashov tried to isolate by raising full pot to over 1,400,000, but "Biezpienelis" quickly called to see the flop come down {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

Bashov put his final 400,000 and change in the middle, and "Biezpienelis" called with {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for top two pair and a straight draw. He was well out in front of both his opponents, and while Bashov picked up a flush draw on the turn, it also gave "Biezpienelis" a straight.

A third five on the river was meaningless now, and with that pot, "Biezpienelis" is the new chip leader with nearly nine million.

"BenDozer" Takes From the Big Stack

Blinds: 25,000/50,000

"lwllh" raised to 100,000, and big stack Benjamin "dr100percent" Juhasz three bet to 375,000 on the button. In the big blind, "BenDozer" would put in a four bet to 875,000. Juhasz would call that bet, but after the flop came down {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Juhasz was forced to fold after "BenDozer" fired 915,000.

Abraisse Hits River to Secure a Triple Up

Blinds: 20,000/40,000

Pawel "insaneSectoids" Ladniak min raised to 80,000 on the button, and Idris Ambraisse called in the small blind. Nick Maimone was in the big blind, and he three bet to 480,000. Ladniak called, but Ambraisse wanted to play for more, moving all in for 818,000 and change.

Both Maimone and Ladniak would call, and over 2,500,000 was in the middle before the flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} came down. Maimone moved all in for a full pot sized bet, and Ladniak ducked out of the way. Maimone showed {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, and his overpair was leading the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} of Ambraisse, who still had a number of outs. The {2-Clubs} turn changed nothing, but the {k-Spades} river changed everything, giving Abraisse the winning hand, and a massive triple up.

Big Stacks with Just 100 Left

Just 100 players from the starting field of 584 remain today. The blinds are just about to go to 20,000/40,000, and the average stack is nearly 1,900,000.

Here are some of the big stacks at the moment, including Daniel Negreanu, who has been in the top ten since the day started.

Ladniak Now Over Seven Million

Blinds: 15,000/30,000

Pawel "insaneSectoids" Ladniak min raised to 60,000 under the gun, and two seats over, Rui "champion zr" Zhou three bet to 218,000. Ladniak made the call, and the flop came down {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Ladniak checked, Zhou fired 315,000, and Ladniak didn't take long to put Zhou all in. Zhou would call with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, and he was miles behind Ladniak, who had a four in the hole for trips. A jack on the turn gave Zhou brief life, but a deuce finished out the board.

With that pot, is over seven million, while no one else in the event has over five million.
