Dvoress Eliminated by Nuter

Level 17 : 3,250/6,500, 800 ante

Former big stack Daniel Dvoress ended up all-in for just 60,234 via open-shove and Timothy Nuter made the call out of the big blind.

The {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} board failed to improve Dvoress and he joined the virtual rail.

Vousden and Zhao Eliminated

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante

Ottomar Ladva made it 14,300 to go right before the blinds went up and Samuel Vousden then jammed for the 174,182 he had at disposal on the button. The blinds folded but Ladva called with the superior stack.

Samuel Vousden: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Ottomar Ladva: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The superior pair turned an unbeatable set and rivered a full house on the {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} board.

Shortly after, Wei Zhao three-bet jammed for 61,642 and Dario Sammartino called.

Wei Zhao: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Dario Sammartino: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}

Sammartino spiked a huge double draw on the {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and completed it with the {9-Spades} turn to make the {2-Diamonds} river a formality.

Filatov only had {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts} but got there on the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Hearts} runout.

Filatov then called a three-bet to 43,190 by Joni Jouhkimainen and the duo checked the {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. The Russian bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 29,208 and earned a call to then jam the {10-Hearts} river for 712,201. Jouhkimainen had 156,958 behind and elected to fold.

Dvoress Doubles With Quads

Level 18 : 3,500/7,000, 850 ante

Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 14,000 from under the gun and picked up a single caller in Daniel Dvoress out of the big blind. Dvoress check-raised to 22,650 on the {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and did so again on the {a-Hearts} turn from 10,500 to 25,200. Ponakovs stuck around to the {10-Clubs} river and called the all-in of Dvoress.

The Canadian tabled {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for flopped quads and Ponakovs with the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} was left on a short stack.
