Top Stacks on Break

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

With just 94 players remaining, here are the top chip stacks.

Lech Cannot Hold With Kings

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Menhardt vs Lech
Menhardt vs Lech

Michael "MiguelFiesta" Lech opened to 184,000 on the button only for Julian "VWgunther" Menhardt to jam out of the small blind for nearly 3 million. Lech had 1,321,150 behind and called it off to find himself in a prime spot to double.

Michael "MiguelFiesta" Lech: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Julian "VWgunther" Menhardt: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was no threat but Menhardt picked up some outs on the {q-Diamonds} turn. He then got there with the {q-Clubs} river to make trips queens and eliminated Lech in 98th place.

Filatov Scores a Double

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Elson "guysneves" Dos Santos open-raised enough into the shorter big blind of Anatoly Filatov, who had the option to call al-in or fold. He obliged after some consideration and called eventually.

Anatoly Filatov: {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Elson "guysneves" Dos Santos: {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The high card played on the {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} for Filatov to double.

Danchev No More; Dos Santos Doubles

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Dimitar Danchev called the open shove by Jargo Alavali and both turned over an ace in the following showdown.

Jargo Alavali: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Dimitar Danchev: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board kept Alavali in the lead and he doubled with tens and eights.

Elson "guysneves" Dos Santos then doubled with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} against the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} of Wenjie "RaiseRorever" Huang in a preflop contest, which saw the board run out {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Fast forward one more hand, Danchev jammed the button with the {j-Hearts}{8-Spades} and "UrielOnFire" isolated in the small blind with {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. The {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades} board sent Danchev to the rail in 106th place.

Kaverman Takes Out Foster

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded to Byron Kaverman in the small blind, who raised to 880,000. Dylan "ReBuyorDie" Foster re-raised all in for 927,424 from the big blind and Kaverman called to put Foster at risk.

Dylan "ReBuyorDie" Foster: {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Byron Kaverman: {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, leaving Kaverman with a flush and eliminating Foster from the tournament.

Ace-King No Good for Chiu

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Japan's "KimuraTakuya" shipped it in for 728,392 from under the gun with the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Sai Ho "LinusLove" Chiu called with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} from one seat over. On a board of {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, the river provided one of the live cards.

One hand later, Chiu raised to 160,000 from under the gun and called the jam by "soonbo" for 613,338.

"soonbo": {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Sai Ho "LinusLove" Chiu: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Once more ace-king failed to connect and "soonbo" douvled with a set on the {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} runout.

"soonbo" also knocked out Joao "Phu Del" Valli when their {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} rivered a full house versus {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} on a {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades} board.

Kempe Calls it Off; Eliminated

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Kempe Eliminated by Frankklin
Kempe Eliminated by Frankklin

Ryan "ScottyDoesntNo" Franklin opened to 126,000 from middle position and action folded to Rainer Kempe in the cutoff, who three-bet to 427,500. It was folded back around to Franklin, who called.

Franklin checked to Kempe on the {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades} flop, who continued for 331,650. Franklin called.

Both players checked on the {5-Spades} turn; however, Franklin bet enough to put Kempe all in for his last 1,671,247 on the {2-Clubs} river. Kempe used a good chunk of his time bank before calling.

Franklin revealed {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for top pair, queen kicker, which was good against the {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} of Kempe for top pair with an inferior kicker.

"Sol1d" Eliminated by "CrownUpTsu"

Level 10 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

In a big flip, "Sol1d" got it in from the cutoff with the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and they were racing against the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} of "CrownUpTsu".

On a board of {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}, the pocket pair prevailed and !Sol1d" busted in 113th place.
