Astedt Scores a Knockout

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 350 ante

Niklas Astedt and Robert "Berty" Bickley got a few raises in preflop the last of Bickley's chips went into the middle. Bickley held {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, and was trailing the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} of Astedt. The flop of {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} gave Astedt the nut flush draw, and took two of Bickley's outs away. The {q-Diamonds} turn was no help, and an ace on the river improved Astedt unnecessarily.

Xue Doubles Through Bruschi

Level 11 : 1,250/2,500, 300 ante

Renan Bruschi and Song "xuesong" Xue went heads up to a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}, and Xue checked to Bruschi, who bet 8,000 and change. Xue check raised to 19,593, and Bruschi wanted to play for it all, moving all in for 50,000 and change.

Xue called his final chips with {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, and was looking to dodge the over cards and straight draw held by Bruschi. The board finished out {3-Diamonds} and {9-Spades}, giving Xue the victory, and a double to over 100,000.

King Give Doddapaneni the Chip Lead

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Fahredin "NeverDieBaby" Mustafov raised to 5,000, and Sriharsha "Upswinger" Doddapaneni reraised to 14,000 next to act. Action folded back around to Mustafov, who put in a four bet to 38,500.

Doddapaneni wasn't going anywhere, as he five bet shoved, and Mustafov made the call with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to create a massive pot of nearly 300,000 chips. Doddapaneni had him dominated holding {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}, and the kings would hold on a runout of {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, boosting Doddapaneni to nearly 400,000.

Sturm Busts Chew

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Not long after Stevan Chew lost a good chunk of his stack, he would shove all in from the button for his final 19,000 and change. Leon "Rumuku!us" Sturm would make the call from the big blind with {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, and he had two live cards against Chew's {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

The flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} gave Sturm a flush draw, and he hit it right on the {10-Clubs} turn, sending Chew to the rail.
