Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz Eliminated in 9th Place ($15,980)

Level 24 : 7,000/14,000, 1,400 ante

Jonathan "Art.Vandelay" Dokler raised to 28,000 from the button, Thomas "HavanaClub" Boivin three-bet to 95,000 from the small blind, Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz jammed all in from the big blind for 400,295, Dokler flat called. Boivin had only a handful of blinds behind and tanked before folding.

Dokler had the goods with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} vs the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The board did not hurt the aces as it came {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Holtz was gone in ninth place.

Thomas Boivin

Jonathan "Art.Vandelay" Dokler raised and then called the 55,482 three-bet jam Thomas "HavanaClub" Boivin made directly to his left.

Thomas "HavanaClub" Boivin: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Jonathan "Art.Vandelay" Dokler: {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Boivin was ahead with his made hand and the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop improved his hand to a full house.

The {a-Spades} turn wasn't the greatest card for Boivin but the {6-Diamonds} river was even worse as it gave Dokler a better full house and eliminated him from the tournament.

WSOP Legend: 3-Time Poker Players Championship Winner Michael Mizrachi

Level 25 : 8,000/16,000, 1,600 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

The World Series of Poker $50,000 Poker Players Championship (PPC), which was created in 2006, is considered the tournament where the best of the best take on one another and duke it out in a variety of poker games, a reflection of all-around poker skill. Imagine playing the likes of Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu five days in a row in a short-handed mixed format.

Needless to say, the hefty price tag coupled with a small, elite field created a legacy for the PPC where champions are considered among the greatest overall poker players. A quick glance at its 14-year history shows nothing but greatness among champions, from John Hennigan to Mike Gorodinsky, and with the late David "Chip" Reese as perhaps the event's most fitting inaugural winner back in 2006.

Winning once is the poker professional's dream. Winning two? You're in a league of your own. But winning the toughest event with poker's best three times? Only one man achieved that improbable feat on this day back in 2018, after winning his first two titles in 2010 and 2012: Michael Mizrachi.
