Zamani Gets It In Good

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 120 ante

Martin "bathroomline" Zamani open jammed under the gun for his last 18,800. Action folded around to Ankush "Rickrosstheb" Mandavia in the big blind, who called and turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Zamani showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for the commanding lead.

Zamani stayed ahead on a flop of {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}, but the turn {j-Diamonds} gave Mandavia the lead with a pair of jacks. The {a-Hearts} on the river handed Mandavia the pot with two pair and ended Zamani's tournament.

Ian "apokerjoker2" Steinman Looking to Crush Another WSOP Online Bracelet Series

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 120 ante
Ian Steinman
Ian Steinman

One WSOP Gold Bracelet. Three final tables. Fifteen cashes. That was the body of work of Ian "apokerjoker2" Steinman in last year's WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series, one that would be the envy of nearly everyone who fired in last year's version. Steinman, who already has been seeking action on some bracelet bets for this year's series, will be looking to duplicate his many deep runs and massive success this year.

Steinman's heater began last year with two final tables early in the series, with a fifth-place performance in Event #7: $800 NLH Knockout Deepstack for $24,578, followed by a sixth-place finish two days later in Event #9: $1,000 NLH 6-Max for $30,995. Steinman's bracelet would be earned late in the series, when he took down Event #27: $400 NLH Freezeout for $110,557 after beating Japan's Satoshi Tanaka in heads-up play. Steinman used these performances to take down the $100,000 Leaderboard competition of the WSOP.com portion of the series, which sent an additional $18,000 his way.

Steinman doesn't appear to be resting on his laurels in preparing for a summer of poker, however, already getting in some prep work by winning the Benny Binion Summer Shoot-Out at the South Point Poker Room for $65,000 after a three-way deal. As much as winning his first bracelet meant to Steinman, the quest for another crusher of a summer is on for the hyper-talented Steinman.

Unlucky Runout Ends Pandya's Tournament

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Ketan Pandya
Ketan Pandya

Ketan "masaverake" Pandya open-jammed for 19,999 from the hijack and Christopher "Pay_Son" Staats came over the top for 23,302 from the small blind getting isolation.

Ketan "masaverake" Pandya: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Christopher "Pay_Son" Staats: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Pandya was ahead with his made hand and the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop improved his hand to a full house.

Unfortunately for him, the case {9-Spades} appeared on the turn, giving both players quads but Staats held an ace giving him the better hand and the {4-Spades} river ended Pandya's tournament.

Negreanu Doubles Through Schulman

Level 10 : 400/800, 80 ante

Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu open jammed from middle position for his remaining 12,064. Nick "CashUsKlay" Schulman called and turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Negreanu showed his suited connectors {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and the {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop gave him a straight with a re-draw for a straight flush.

The turn {10-Spades} gave Schulman an opportunity to chop the pot, but the {a-Clubs} on the river sealed the double up for Negreanu.
