Sverko Gets Chidwick to Fold Before Break

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Gregor Sverko raised to 1,500 pre-flop and got three callers, including Stephen Chidwick on the button.

Everyone checked to Chidwick on a {10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop and he bet 2,000. Sverko called and the other two players got out of the way.

Both players checked the {a-Clubs} turn before Sverko led out for 9,500 on the {5-Spades} river.

Chidwick considered calling for a few minutes before throwing his cards toward the dealer.

Coles Knocks Out Stout

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Matt Stout returned from the last break with one of the largest stacks in the room but was just sent to the rail by Joe Coles.

According to Coles, Stout check-called the {8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop and the {9-Hearts} turn.

When the {a-Diamonds} fell on the river, Stout moved all in and Coles called with {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for two pair. Stout had {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a pair of eights and missed flush and straight draws and made his exit.

Underwood Puts Major Dent in Mash

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Benjamin Underwood, who made three final tables in No-Limit Hold'em events at the 2019 WSOP, opened to 1,500 from early position and called when Howard Mash three-bet to 6,500 from the big blind.

Mash continued for 6,000 on the {4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and Underwood called.

On the {8-Clubs} turn, Mash slowed down with a check and Underwood bet 11,000.

Mash called to see the {7-Hearts} river. He checked once again and Underwood went all in for about 45,000.

Mash went into the tank for several minutes, counting out his remaining stack. He eventually folded to fall down to 65,000.

"I hope I'm right," he said after the pot was pushed to Underwood.

Underwood now has 90,000, while 2016 Main Event champion Qui Nguyen has 60,000 sitting to Underwood's left.
