Peck Beats Rotholz in Showdown

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

After the second draw, Vladimir Peck bet and Hal Rotholz raised for his opponent to call. Peck announced pat and Rotholz took one new card. They then checked it down and Peck showed a {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-}{2-} for a rough eight. Rotholz was drawing dead with a {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-} and only peeled the {k-} to concede the pot.

"Drawing dead is good," Peck said with a smile on the face.

Big Badugi Pot For Yoon

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Badugi

A massive pot broke out between Brian Yoon and Joao Vieira, leading to a bet from Yoon after the third draw. Yoon, from the small blind, awaited the decision from Vieira.

Vieira, on the button, thought it over for several moments, then called. Yoon showed a nine-Badugi for the win, and Vieira flashed a {10-} and an {8-} as he mucked.

Benson Gets Short

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Upon completion of the second draw, Gary Benson check-called a bet by Hal Rotholz in a battle small blind versus cutoff. Both discarded one card and then checked it down. Rotholz showed the {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Spades} for a three-card six-trey and that won the pot.

Six-Dugi for Peck

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Vladimir Peck limped the small blind and Hal Rotholz checked his option. Peck discarded two and Rotholz took two. The bet of Peck was called by Rotholz and Peck then patted, while Rotholz took two cards. Peck bet once more and Rotholz tank-called, with the former patting and Rotholz taking one new card.

Peck then bet after the final draw and Rotholz called after long consideration to get shown the {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a Six-Dugi.
