Peck Beats Rotholz in Showdown

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

After the second draw, Vladimir Peck bet and Hal Rotholz raised for his opponent to call. Peck announced pat and Rotholz took one new card. They then checked it down and Peck showed a {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-}{2-} for a rough eight. Rotholz was drawing dead with a {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-} and only peeled the {k-} to concede the pot.

"Drawing dead is good," Peck said with a smile on the face.
