Cheong and Pulusani Eliminated on the Bubble

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Joseph Cheong
Joseph Cheong

There were multiple all-ins on the very first hand back from the dinner break. At one table, Joseph Cheong was all in for around 100,000 chips and was called by Andres Gonzalez. Cheong tabled {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} but was up against the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} of Gonzalez.

The board ran out {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Cheong was unable to come from behind, thus being eliminated.

At another table, Nick Petrangelo raised to 16,000 in the hijack and Sandeep Pulusani ripped all in for around 200,000 in the big blind. Petrangelo quickly flicked in a chip to call and the cards were tabled.

Pulusani showed {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} but ran into the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} of Petrangelo. The board ran out {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Pulusani was also eliminated.

Since Cheong and Pulusani were eliminated on separate tables, they will split the prize money for 91st place.
