Lodge Gets Caught Bluffing

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A completed board of {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} was spread across the felt with a pot of around 50,000 already. Nicolas Vayssieres checked from the big blind and Harry Lodge announced a bet of 36,000 in the hijack.

Vayssieres gave it some time before finally tossing in a call. Lodge turned over {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for just queen-high while Vayssieres showed {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for two pair.

Racener Takes a Big Pot from Boivin

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joao Vieira started the action with a raise to 5,100 on the button and Thomas Boivin three-bet to 17,000 from the small blind. John Racener stuck in a four-bet to 45,000 from the big blind which got Vieira to fold but Boivin still called.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Boivin check-called a continuation bet from Racener. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Boivin checked again. Racener stuck in a bet of 45,000 and Boivin called to see the {j-Clubs} on the river.

Boivin checked once more and Racener jammed all in, putting Boivin's stack at risk. Boivin wasted little time before ditching his cards to the muck and Racener collected the pot.

Akkari Lays it Down

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a three-bet pot, Andre Akkari and Ivan Zufic went heads-up to a flop of {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Akkari started with a check from the small blind and Zufic tossed in a bet of 26,500 on the button. Akkari called and the {k-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Akkari checked again and Zufic counted out a bet of 37,000. Akkari still called and the {k-Clubs} paired the board on the river. Akkari checked for the third time and Zufic moved all in, putting Akkari to the test for his remaining stack of around 100,000. Akkari went into the tank for a couple of minutes but eventually laid his hand down.

Martinez Sends Mateos to the Rail

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos moved all in for 32,200 from the cutoff and Raul Martinez asked for a count from the small blind. Martinez re-raised which got the big blind to quickly fold and the two hands were tabled.

Adrian Mateos: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Raul Martinez: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Martinez held a dominating lead and the flop of {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} cemented his position in front. The {8-Clubs} on the turn nor the {4-Diamonds} on the river
did not help Mateos, sending him to the rail.

Addamo Quickly Dusts Off

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

The action folded to Michael Addamo on the button who made it 4,800 to go. Brandon Sligh three-bet to 17,400 from the small blind and Addamo called. The flop came {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} and the two players quickly got all of the chips in the middle with Addamo at risk for 29,500.

Michael Addamo: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Brandon Sligh: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Both players flopped a flush draw but it was Sligh who had the better of the two. The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and the river was the {10-Clubs} to give Sligh the nut-flush and eliminate Addamo.
