Aronesty Next to Fall

Level 22

Omaha Hi-Lo

Joe Aronesty raised pre-flop and was called by Kai Hicks and Max Pescatori. Aronesty continued on the {9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop and was called by both opponents.

All three players checked the {8-Hearts} turn, then Aronesty shoved his last 18,000 in the middle on the {8-Clubs} river. Hicks called and Pescatori folded.

"You win. I have the worst ace possible," Aronesty said, turning over {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Hicks had {q-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair, aces and nines, to win the pot and eliminate Aronesty.
