Koon Doubles Through Iadisernia

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

In the last hand before the break, a four-way pot with 3,000 each led to a checked through flop of {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The {9-Clubs} turn brought a bet worth 5,500 by Giuseppe Iadisernia and Jason Koon was the only caller.

On the {9-Diamonds} river, Iadisernia bet another 20,000 and Koon jammed for around 60,000 to get snap-called. Iadisernia rolled over the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} for aces full but Koon's {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} had made runner-runner quads for the double-up.

"That's as sick as it gets," Koon stated in table chat before heading into the break.

Katz Redeems Add-On

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

"Okay dealer, fill me up," Cary Katz said and tossed an add-on chip towards the dealer. Katz had been short-stacked for some time and got it in with the {10-Spades}{7-Spades}. Young Ko looked him up with the {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and prevailed on the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} runout as the superior kicker played.

Updated Counts

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

Two Out; One Back

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

Seth Davies open-shoved for 31,000 and Corel Theuma also pushed to force out table big stack Dan Shak.

Davies tabled the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Theuma "gambled" with the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Davies doubled with a full house. Theuma had some 17,000 behind without any add-ons and busted shortly after, joining Denys Chufarin on the rail as casualties on their second entry.

In the meantime, Chance Kornuth has re-entered to bring the field up to 44 entries.

Sinn Eliminated by Kysar

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

Following three limps, Charles Sinn pushed for 46,600 and Thomas Kysar then went all-in over the top by pushing in his T-5,000 chips. Corel Theuma was in the tank on the button and folded, as did Ye Shen.

Charles Sinn: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Thomas Kysar: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop propelled Sinn into the lead but Kysar spiked the {k-Hearts} on the turn. Nothing changed anymore with the {8-Spades} river and Sinn was knocked out. "I will be back later guys," Sinn announced on his way out.

"What did you have?" Theuma was asked and he admitted to have folded six-seven suited.

Shak Leads; Sammartino Follows; Ko Doubles

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

Dan Shak has taken over the lead by some margin and Dario Sammartino follows in second place while Chance Kornuth was eliminated on his first entry.

Young Ko was at risk on the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} turn when facing a bet worth 8,000 by Chad Campbell on the button and the shove by Jason Koon. Campbell folded and Ko was heads-up for his last 24,300 with Koon.

Young Ko: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Jason Koon: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Only one out remained for Koon to avoid a setback but the river was a blank {6-Diamonds} to keep Ko in contention.

Kong On the Last Add-On

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

Seongsu Kong vaulted out of his seat and was not too pleased when his {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} went down in flames. Rene van Krevelen was trailing pref.op with the {a-Spades}{9-Spades} but got there on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} runout. The final add-on of Kong was redeemed as a result.

Daniels Eliminated by Koon

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

Jake Daniels got his stack of around 30,000 in before the flop and was called by the initial raiser Jason Koon.

Jake Daniels: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Jason Koon: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop gave Daniels the top set but Koon had the flush draw. Instead, Koon got there with the {q-Spades} turn to take the lead and the {7-Spades} river only improved Koon to the superior full house. "That's a pretty sweet runout you got there. See you guys soon," Daniels said on his way out.

Vladimir Peck
Vladimir Peck

Vladimir Peck got his shorter stack of 15,900 in via open-shove and Bart Lybaert reshoved from one seat over in the cutoff to isolate successfully.

Vladimir Peck: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Bart Lybaert: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Peck turned an unbeatable straight to double.

Brewer Doubles Through Delnano; Doubles Patgorski

Level 4 : 0/0, 400 ante

The chips are flying as Chris Brewer got it in with the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} versus {k-Spades}{6-Spades} on a {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop. Brandon Delnano was his opponent and the flush draw bricked, as the {10-Clubs} turn and {k-Hearts} river gave Brewer a straight and double for 48,200.

Moments later, Gabe Patgorski doubled through Brewer with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} versus {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} when he spiked a ten on the flop.
