Chris Moorman

Chris Moorman was all-in and at risk for his last 70,000, Rafael Reis in the small blind folded and the Sanjay Mayecker in big blind called.

The flop of {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} improved Mayecker to a pair of threes however Moorman could still catch an ace or king to move ahead in the hand. The {6-Diamonds} turn left Moorman with zero outs and the {5-Clubs} river was just a formality.

Yoshida Calls River to Double on Bubble

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Play was at hand for hand and the board was already completed to read {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Katsushi Yoshida was facing a river shove from his opponent as he had to decide if he wanted to risk his entire stack and potentially bubble the tournament.

After a few moments he called. The players waited for other tables to complete action to turn over their cards and Yoshida tabled the {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a set and his opponent had just a pair of deuces with {j-Spades}{2-Spades}. Yoshida breathed a sigh of relief, not only surviving but gathering a large pot in the process.
