Gorsuch Sneaks Into the Money

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

2019 Millionaire Maker champion John Gorsuch made the money with only a few thousand chips and got them all in the middle on the first hand after the bubble burst.

Gorsuch had {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} and was up against the {k-Spades}{10-Spades} of Jean Burr. The {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop gave Burr an open-ended straight flush draw, and she hit the flush on the {3-Spades} turn.

Gorsuch could still win the pot with a spade on the river but didn't hit as he became an early post-bubble casualty.
